I'm investing considerable time playing with Google+, and REALLY ENJOY the  experience so far. The G+ service seems to be an effective way to interact with readers. It's also a great way to find a wider audience of creative and smart people.

Yesterday someone commented that for now, G+ feels somewhat like the internet before the masses started using it. You know, before AOL.

With only 20 million users (5 million in the US) G+ is still relatively small, compared with Facebook. Not that 20 million people after just three weeks is exactly a failure.

Have a look at what Ron K Jeffries is doing on G+. Or not.

Quote:
Let me toss out the idea that, as our markets discover and respond to what consumers most want, our technology has become extremely adept at creating products that correspond to our fantasy ideal of an erotic relationship, in which the beloved object asks for nothing and gives everything, instantly, and makes us feel all powerful, and doesn’t throw terrible scenes when it’s replaced by an even sexier object and is consigned to a drawer.
